What is the Hilton Head Adventure Boot Camp for Women?

A four-week outdoor program of fitness instruction, nutritional counseling and motivational training. You will be inspired and have fun while participating in a fantastic workout led by Certified Adventure Fitness Trainer, Joni Colburn . Each day, camp will be one hour in length. What if I'm not very physically fit?Adventure Boot Camp

NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. Nor will anybody go home unchallenged! Women of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Each day will slightly increase in intensity. You will inspire and be inspired by others.

What types of exercises are included in the program?

Exercises include: core conditioning, short distance running (less than one mile), lunges, muscular strength, yoga, jumping rope, circuit training, obstacle courses, PAR course, push-ups, Pilates, surprises, and more!

How often will we meet?

Participants will meet every Monday through Friday for one hour during the four-week program. All participants will be expected to arrive on time.

What do I need to bring?

You will need to bring one set of 5 - 8 lb. hand weights and any type of exercise mat (You can get both of these at any local Target, Walmart or any fitness retail store. (I recommend the high density mat). You will also want to bring water to keep yourself hydrated during camp. Optional items are a towel to dry off with and gloves or mittens in the winter. Dress in layers and even if it is chilly don’t worry you will get warm very fast! And always bring a good attitude!

So, what will I gain in camp?

Your body will become more fit and toned, and you will gain more confidence and self-esteem!  By participating, you will gain a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction that you have taken action against the effects of aging and are living a healthy and fit lifestyle.

Why should I participate?

You will make a dramatic improvement in your physical and mental well-being. In addition, you'll meet great people who share your same passion for acquiring a more healthy body and mind. You will be finished with your training before the rest of the world has even gotten started!  When you follow camp with a healthy meal and hot shower, you will feel unstoppable. This camp goes so much further than the 5-10 pounds you will lose. The effects are so far reaching into all areas of your life as you begin to love the reflection that stares back at you in the mirror. What is the cost (investment in myself)?

Each four-week boot camp has a registration fee of $299 for 20 hours of instruction! That's just $14.95 per hour. Where else can you get premiere or cutting edge fitness instruction for that incredible price?  Adventure Boot CampPersonal trainers can typically charge $75-$150 per hour for their services. This is a great opportunity to receive motivating fitness instruction by a certified personal trainer for just a fraction of the cost. You truly cannot put a price on your health, self esteem and the confidence you will gain from Hilton Head Adventure Boot Camp. If you look at what you will save in medical bills down the road or having to buy larger size clothing or lost opportunities due to your health, $14.95 for an hour of empowerment is priceless.

Other Options:

*The Adventure Boot Camp Program is designed to be done 5 days per week. However, there is a 3 day a week and 4 day a week option as well. The 5 day program includes all 20 sessions and is the best way to jump start your fitness and see dramatic improvements. The 3 or 4 day per week program is also beneficial and is especially good for those who are real beginners, are working with injuries or who compliment boot camp with other activities. The 3 day a week program is $199, and the 4 day a week program is $249. You can choose whichever days work best with your schedule.

We are now accepting registrations for the next camp. Once we receive your registration, you will receive a confirmation with the date of the nutrition seminar and fitness assessment.

What Hilton Head Adventure Boot Camp is not:

A militaristic style format where you will be humiliated.  A competitive environment where you will be pushed beyond your abilities.
